Named in honor of Rev. Earle Trent, CLBA Director of Missions from 1958 to 1976, and nestled near the banks of Shoals Creek, Earle Trent Assembly is one of the finest camp sites in Alabama. ETA consists of 94 acres of natural beauty. Attractive California redwood buildings, with central heat and air conditioning, comfortably accommodate users of all ages. Outdoor activities include high and low ropes courses, swimming, canoeing, softball, basketball, hiking, fishing, and camping in Adirondack shelters. Crossing the assembly property is the old Jackson Trail used in Andrew Jackson's journeys through the South.
